About EJTV Art

For as long as I can remember, Henk Helmantel was always present in our home. Not that my parents could afford a work, but images of his works hung on the wall and the books about Henk stood in the bookcase. Personally, I didn't have much of a connection to it.
When my parents were retired and increasingly confined to the house due to my mother's chronic illness, I thought for a long time about what I could do to brighten up the days during the difficult years ahead. And that is where the idea originated. I should buy a Helmantel for them. It turned out to be three, and they delivered exactly what I had hoped for. They enjoyed what my father called 'the museum'. The effect of Henk's work also increased my appreciation.
And so I myself became first an enthusiast and then an investor in Henk's works. In the beginning, more in the background. Occasionally, I would submit works to renowned art dealers to present at major fairs, such as TEFAF or PAN Amsterdam. From them, I learned how the art trade works; from Henk himself, I learned how to look.
EJTV Art was founded in 2019. I created my website so I could share my hobby with other enthusiasts and those interested in Henk's work. Things moved fast after that. In 2025, the 100th Helmantel found its way to a new destination via EJTV Art. At the request of collectors, I cautiously began adding other realistic work in 2025. With that, a new chapter began.
Because I do not live off it and have no gallery costs, the market quickly found me. I buy works above the price a seller takes home when offering a work at auction, and almost always above the price art dealers bid. The same benefit applies to the buyer. Fair price; no one gets too little and no one pays too much.
In my daily life, I am an independent interim manager. More information can be found on LinkedIn.
