This is typical Helmantel. Henk has a fondness for Romanesque architecture. The Monastery of Jerichow is a gem. So Henk set off on his moped (he has neither a driver's license nor a mobile phone) to Saxony-Anhalt, easily 500 km to the east. In the span of a few weeks, he made various drawings, including one of this remarkable crypt, built starting in the year 1172.
The work turned out particularly well. The light is soft and playful and perfectly captured.
