Debora Makkus is still relatively unknown to the general public, but certainly up-and-coming. With 40 museum exhibitions to date, her work is coming to the fore. In 2025, she is painting a series of Roman glass from my private collection. In Roman III, she paints a Roman square flask from the 1st-2nd AD. They were used for transporting liquids. The iridescence on the flask is beautifully executed. The square flask is available to the buyer of the work.
