In her Roman Glass series, Debora depicts an exceptionally beautiful glass aryballos with a cobalt-blue rim and two handles. The iridescence on the vessel has an almost mother-of-pearl appearance. It is no coincidence that this particular piece was once sold by Charles Ede Gallery in London, one of the world’s most highly regarded galleries specialising in Roman glass.
